_{The gospel of Jesus is a precious trust from God, especially for those entrusted with guarding the truth of salvation as we teach, preach and proclaim. This requires clarity, vigilance and courage. We are experincing an uptick in spiritual yearning among our secular neighbours, which is creating many wonderful opportunities. But not all yearning is for Christ crucified, with many finding their way into a wide variety of church traditions. And from our own flocks, Roman Catholicism and Eastern Orthodoxy are attracting many, both high profile and ordinary members of our churches. Some of us are mystified by the trend, some are confused, some are sympathetic. The goal of this year's PGP Annual Conference is to clarify a Biblical and Christ-honouring understanding of spiritual life, to grow in our own joyful devotion to Christ, and to be equipped to minister to people attracted to alternate forms of spirituality.}
